I am preparing to be a Grand Father...president Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerian couples to love and endure each other to guarantee a successful marriage.
Jonathan spoke on Saturday in Otuoke, Bayelsa state, during the traditional marriage of his daughter, Faith Sakwe Elizabeth as she walks down the aisle with her heartthrob,  Godswill Edwards Osim
“Endurance is the ingredient for marriage; for any marriage to last endurance is key,” he said.
Jonathan expressed appreciation to dignitaries who attended the marriage and described the ceremony as a ‘painful joy that could not be avoided’.
“It is a painful joy; my wife and I are happy and we appreciate you for witnessing the marriage of our daughter.
“People that saw me today didn’t recognise me. I am preparing to be a grandfather,” Jonathan said humorously.
Vice-President Namadi Sambo, who chaired the occasion, advised the couple to be tolerant, friendly, and obedient to the marriage institution.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that several dignitaries including governors, ministers, captains of industries attended the marriage.
